Ogier extends range of professional microwave transmission systems with 24GHz Ethernet Product Range
July 2011 - Ogier Electronics are delighted to announce their new range of Wireless Ethernet Links operating in the Licence Exempt 24GHz range. The new product compliments the Ethernet links recently exhibited at IFSEC operating in 5.8GHz and 31GHz bands. The links are designed for both CCTV systems using I/P cameras but also Bi-directional railway systems for taking data and video from trains in surface and sub surface environments without the need for the costs associated with Fibre or GSM-R. The development of the range has been prompted by the increasing desire to remove fibre rental from CCTV Systems and the need for high quality real time data links for monitoring rolling stock. As with all Ogier produced equipment the new products have been designed and manufactured in the UK to provide the very highest level of quality and reliability.
We shall also be introducing a totally new product in the coming months aimed at bringing a higher level of in built intelligence into camera systems whilst establishing a new low cost for a technologically advanced system. When combined with microwave transmission networks the new units shall provide unrivaled capability and functionality
