As a low cost alternative to fibre this equipment, operating in the licence exempt spectrum, is specifically designed for the transmission of CCTV IP video in point to point and point to multipoint configurations.

High Performance
These units operate within the licence free 24 GHz band, which together with the use of directional antennas enables the system to operate without all the interference issues that routinely plague Wi-Fi and Wi-Max systems operating at 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz. The equipment is based on the proven and rugged video links sold by Ogier for applications across the world. It has a wide temperature operating range and incorporates IP66 sealing.
Technology
The Ogier point to point Ethernet link is based on the 802.11g wireless protocol but operates in the uncluttered 24GHz band. The equipment features data rates up to 54Mbps in standard mode and incorporates configurable features such as real-time data compression and packet bursting for enhanced throughput.
